20. Coral Castle

Though most couples visit Miami for the serene beaches and tropical climate, the city actually has a rich history. Case in point: Coral Castle. Coral Castle dates back to 1920 and was built by Latvian-American sculptor and engineer, Edward Leedskalnin. Over 1,100 tonnes of coral rock were used in the creation of this spectacular site. No modern tools were used in the castle’s construction and Leedskalnin is believed to have done all the work himself. Considered by many to be a mysterious feat, similar to Stonehenge, this is a great spot to visit for all history-loving couples.
