    Tourist Trap

Navy Pier was a decently fun stop, but there are much more authentic places to visit. It is full of chain restaurants, overpriced souvenir shops and a few rides. The boat rides from the pier are fun, especially when it is warm enough to appreciate the spray of the water.

    Fantastic attraction

Navy pier is a cool place right on lake Michigan. They have a nice theatre there, Disney experience, many amusement park rides like the ferris wheel and so many restaurants. Entertainment focused. This is also the perfect place to watch fireworks on new years and the fourth of july.

    Fantastic attraction

We enjoyed our stop at Navy Pier and consider it a must do when visiting Chicago. There are lots of options for dinner, entertainment and shopping in one stop with a beautiful view of Lake Michigan and an excellent boardwalk for a leisurely stroll. I think what makes Navy Pier special is that it is basically downtown but doesn’t have the downtown feel.

    Excellent

A very recognizable attraction, the Navy Pier is constantly busy with people. You can grab a bite to eat, take a ride on the famous Centennial Wheel and explore a variety of places. It is a wonderful location to get a great view of Lake Michigan. The boardwalk is excellent and there is plenty to see and do along the way. The pier offers a variety of shops, restaurants, museums, and theaters that will suit most people’s tastes.

    It was good

I feel like I’m missing something here because I don’t get the appeal. It has a view of the lake and coast, and they do offer frequent events (including fireworks) during the summer, but everything is very expensive. My lemonade vodka was $12 and weak, and it was nearly impossible to find seating. This area isn’t really authentic Chicago if that’s what you’re looking for.
