Calgary Tower was not as exciting as expected, but it is really gorgeous. It is sort of expensive, wouldn't go there for second time. But still very nice view of the city from above.

Has a lot of restaurants. You don't have to worry about traffic, it's a closed off street. The sculptures themselves are average... but looks interesting at night when they are lit up and changing colors.

We took our family to the Calgary Zoo on July 2017. The zoo is laid out so well with the different areas of the world and the animals that reside there, so its nice to choose which animals you wish to see. Lots of food options and a great gift shop. It was a very warm day and there was no shade in the very long line, so we decided to come back later on, but the line was even longer. It would be nice to get a fast-pass system so you could get a pre-arranged time and not waste an hour in line. Other than that, it was a great family time. Kids liked it a lot, and had fantastic day.

The acoustics of this building is fantastic. The large organ is beautiful to listen to, both in solo and as an accompanying instrument to choirs. Its prime downtown location attracts either local and tourists. Love the architecture, quite unique.

My husband and I just took our 2 children (10 and 12) to Heritage Park this autumn and it was wonderful. I hadn't been there for a few years and I was amazed at all of the new buildings and attractions. We spent 4-5 hours there and maybe covered half of the park. The kids loved the old buildings and the staff are very patient in explaining to kids "how it was in the old days". The Bakery is a must!
