I will never forget what it was like driving up to Queenstown. The view is something very special. It glistens off in the distance as a far-away wonderland. Although there are more houses and development than Lake Wanaka, it's a sight worth seeing.

I will never forget my experience here! After a long walk from town my friend and I finally came upon this hot pool and spent almost an entire day here! It was pretty crowded but started to clear out more in the late afternoon. One of my favorite parts about it was the combination of the hot pool right next to the cold river, you could ease in and out depending on your temperature preference. If you are in the area I highly suggest visiting this incredible place!

I just stopped in here briefly to get a few items I needed for a project, but it was a very positive experience. A cute place, quaint, unique and friendly staff. A great place to stop in and check out as you browse through the shops of downtown.

My friend and I did a beautiful hike here! It was one of my favorite hikes in New Zealand. We hiked for an entire afternoon and saw the Emerald Lakes. We only saw a few people throughout our entire hike. It was all open without much vegetation or brush, powerful sun (would suggest sunscreen or protection in this area). We felt on top of the world, the color of the lakes I remember most prominently, the blue/turquoise water glowed from below! Depending on what time of the year you go, I would suggest starting in the morning to get a full day in before the sun sets.

I loved the outdoor experiences I had here; the hiking, the hot spring and the beautiful lake views. It is a great place to visit for the outdoor enthusiast and adventure seeker; it was a tourist adventure hot spot. The downside is the town tends to be more pricey than other places and there isn't as much of the true culture here.
