We rode the Skyline Gondola quite a few times when we were in Queenstown, and really enjoyed it each time. It takes you up to the top of the mountain where you can do a ton of different activities. We did luging, paragliding, and stargazing and they were all great! It's a bonus to take such a scenic ride up the mountain to do these activities and the view is awesome.

Milford Sound was really beautiful and something you have to see in New Zealand. We did a day tour with Southern Discoveries and got to see seals up close and drink from one of the waterfalls. If you want to avoid the crowds, stay in Te Anau and drive out to Milford for the early morning cruises.

Beautiful park right in the middle of Perth. It's worth seeking out the DNA Tower, as you can climb the 15m to the top and get a great view of the park and Perth. There is also a tree top walkway. Both are free, so well worth it to go explore this park.

Went to the State Library to take advantage of the free wifi. It is worth taking a look around while you're there, as there is even a room where you can play video games. Building is beautiful and the front lawn is a nice place to stop for a picnic lunch. Located right in the middle of downtown Melbourne.

The Shotover Jet was one of the most exciting things we did in New Zealand. The boats are extremely fast and the drivers get you dangerously close to the rocks. The drivers also stop along the way to give you a bit of history about the area and lots of information about the river. Plus you can take a second ride the same day for a discounted amount. Would definitely recommend this experience if you are in Queenstown.
