The Sydney Fish Market provides plenty of entertainment and a nice opportunity to amble around and check out the various stalls. I didn't find this fish market as enthralling as, say the markets in Mexico City or in Tokyo. It's just your standard fish market, but still worth a visit if you happen to have a hankering for some fresh fish while in Sydney. The market is accessible by public transportation.

If you are walking around Sydney, you probably can't avoid this place. This huge botanical garden is like the Central Park of Sydney. There are plenty of paths to explore and plants to enjoy. I saw many people walking and biking around. I appreciate Sydney's dedication to keeping a large green space in the midst of their metropolitan area. It really makes for a peaceful, relaxing getaway when you're thoroughly exhausted from walking the downtown area.

If taking a ferry to enjoy the views of the bridge and Sydney Opera House doesn't float your boat (pun intended), then Circular Quay is a good viewing platform! I walked around late at night and felt totally safe. I was able to get awesome night shots and panoramas of the skyline. Unfortunately I didn't get to visit during the daytime, but I'm sure it's bustling with tourists and lots of events, especially in the summer. I know that the Sydney Opera House has spectacular light shows and fireworks displays during holidays and events. Circular Quay would be the ideal spot during these times!

What a beautiful, sleek, and sophisticated mall! I expect nothing less, however, because I am familiar with Westfield malls, and I know that they are higher end and swanky. It's a good place to walk around and window shop, or to do some souvenir shopping, although you will pretty much find the same stores around any other Westfield mall in the world. They have a Din Tai Fung here, so it's definitely worth a stop!

This is the most beautiful zoo I have been to! The giraffes have a great view of the Sydney Opera House. It must be so nice to live there! I also saw a Tasmanian devil for the first time. He looks nothing like the cartoon! I got some awesome pictures of the other animals. It's a great place to spend the day.
