This is a big mall consisting a cluster of buildings, housing a variety of luxury brand shops. It is located in the famous business district of Manila - Makati. There are variety of restaurants lined up on one side of the Mall, you'll be spoiled for choice.

I've always enjoyed trying different foods at one time. Maginhawa food trip offers exactly this - from local food, international cuisine and even exotic dishes. The only real inconvenience is the parking, you can never get one after 6pm. Best to find a friend who lives in the area, park there, and walk or take public transportation to your desired restaurant.

Robinsons Magnolia gives a more posh ambiance compared to other malls. The design is elegant, it's rarely crowded, and the stores are generally sells expensive products. The Magnolia ice cream store in the garden area is also a nice touch and gives a hint of nostalgia of what this place is used to be.

Colonial-style buildings line the cobblestone streets selling antiques and tourist trinkets. Some of the buildings were obviously built more recently, but still follow the same aesthetic style. Ride a horse-drawn carriage, and sample the local cuisine (Vigan empanadas are delicious). The area is clean and safe, the people are friendly, and we encountered no panhandlers.

Hidden Garden is the perfect place to go to upon arriving at Vigan. They serve almost all the food that are famous in the region, and their design and ambiance gives a feel that will make you feel the life in Vigan. Aside from food, they also sell plants that you can take back with you when you go home.
