Best Halal Breakfast
- Royal Plaza On Scotts – Carousel Buffet’s kitchen is halal certified, so guests following a halal diet can enjoy breakfast with no worries. Starting at S$42, dishes include eggs, pancakes, and sausages, all prepared with chicken, not pork. You’ll also enjoy Asian dishes, like noodles, fried rice, curries, and dim sum all using certified ingredients.
- PARKROYAL Collection Marina Bay – Peppermint is one of Singapore’s best halal breakfast buffets, with all kitchens and stations halal certified. Starting at S$38, there are a variety of tasty dishes, including Asian, local, and Western. You’ll find everything from eggs and pastries to meats, seafood, rice dishes, and noodles.
Best Indian Breakfast
Singapore’s best Indian breakfasts are in Little India, but the restaurants aren’t inside the hotels. Most of the hotels will post the distance to the closest or best Indian restaurant. With that in mind, there are a couple of highly-rated hotels that have Indian options in their buffets.
- Marina Bay Sands – If you’re looking for Indian breakfast delights, Rise buffet has a nice variety. Their live cooking station features Dosas, Paratha, and Potato Masala, plus other items like Dal, Idli, Naan bread, and chutneys. Rise breakfast buffets start at S$35 per person.

- Holiday Inn Express Singapore Serangoon – Room rates may change throughout the year, but the prices in October may be the most affordable. Book one of the Standard rooms and enjoy a nightly rate as low as $125 USD.
- Holiday Inn Express Singapore Clark Quay – This 4-star hotel in Clarke Quay is an affordable option if you’re planning to visit during the holidays. Book a Standard room in December or January and pay as low as $160 USD per night.

You’ll have a choice between, queen, twin, and single rooms. Rooms are cosy and ideal for couples, although some have sofabeds if there’s a third person. Breakfast is served in The Great Room restaurant which operates 24 hours per day. You’ll find coffee, cornflakes, salads, eggs, and sausages at the generous breakfast station. For some extra energy after the meal, pick up some of the fruits or a filling muffin. There’s also a gym on-site where you can maintain your fitness level during the holiday break.
