Get ready for lavish settings and stunning scenes that make every moment about romance. We’ll uncover Sydney’s most charming spots for couples. But before we review each hotel, here are some quick tips to get you started.

Where to Stay For Sydney Harbour Views

  • Circular Quay/The Rocks – If you’re looking for nightlife and the best views of Sydney Harbour, you’ll want to stay here. Circular Quay offers the best views of the Opera House and the Harbour Bridge. And with the historic Rocks close by, there’s plenty to see. It’s also one of the city’s most vibrant areas, with restaurants, bars, and live music venues. One of the more highly-rated hotels here is Pullman Quay Grand Sidney Harbour.
  • North Sydney – Just over the Harbour Bridge, North Sydney is one of the best vantage points for breathtaking views of Sydney Harbour. If you prefer a quieter stay, North Sydney doesn’t attract the tourists or crowds like Sydney CBD. But shops and restaurants are only a short walk or train ride away. For a luxurious stay with great harbour views, we recommend Meriton Suites North Sydney.

Best Suites with Harbour Bridge Views

  • Pier One Sydney Harbour – Set just below and alongside the Harbor Bridge, the Admiral suite has one of the best bridge views in the Harbour. You can see the bridge from every room, but the best views are from the soaking tub and the balcony.
  • InterContinental Sydney – Choose either a King Harbour Bridge View room or suite. You’ll enjoy 5-star picture-window views of this iconic landmark from almost every room.

Best Suites with Opera House Views

  • Park Hyatt Sydney – This is one of the best hotels with a close-up Opera House view. Choose either the Rooftop Suite or the Twin with Opera View. Depending on your budget, both offer overwater views, either from the suite’s terrace or the twin’s master bedroom.
  • Four Seasons Hotel Sydney – This is where you can get a better bird’s eye view. The Opera Club and the Opera Royal Suites offer views of the Sydney Opera House. But if you want the most romantic view, have a look at the Opera Royal Suite’s private soaking tub.
