The Belles experience starts with being surrounded by lush forest which can only be described as paradise and ends with a feeling of complete zen. Getting away from it all is made easy thanks to this property being set on no less than 3.7-acres of land. Two stand-alone cottages and one studio apartment are secluded from the main homestead occupied by the wonderful hosts Julie and Noel. They have well-equipped kitchenettes and a BBQ to cook your own meals, fine teas and a Nespresso machine, luxury king beds, as well as bathrooms complete with double spa baths, indulgent toiletries, and even GHD hair straighteners. 7. Top Of The Hill

Here you’ll find six private and separate cabins with everything you need to relax at your fingertips. For a start, there’s private decks and open spa bathrooms that overlook scenic valleys, as well as TVs with DVD access, minibars, and snooze-inducing beds and linens. To really woo your partner on a break for two, we’d recommend the romance package. Soft music, indulgent chocolates, champagne, candles, and rose petals are just some of the things to enjoy whilst you wait for a freshly cooked meal to be delivered to your door by one of the local restaurants. There’s little light pollution here so the stars sure put on a show; the staff at the reception may even be able to point out some of the star constellations for you if you’re interested. Based in the town of Maleny, getting out and about to local attractions is easy. This rainforest retreat is just by the entrance to Queensland’s treasured Great Walk which connects a bunch of national parks putting you within easy access of many popular nature spots. It’s also just a five-minute drive from the artisan village of Montville and a 25-minute drive to the Sunshine Coast and its spectacular beaches. Accommodation consists of unspoiled secluded villas surrounded by rainforest vistas and mesmerizing sounds of the creek. Self-contained cabins are shrouded in the natural beauty allowing guests to really forget about the outside world and focus their time on each other and all of the special indulgent treats waiting for you. In the heart of the Hinterland, atop the main street of Montville, location is everything at this four-star resort. 23 luxurious rooms in a combination of studios and apartments are tastefully decorated with modern furnishings and local artwork. All contain a desk, well-equipped kitchenette, TV with satellite channels, and a private balcony. The Spa Studios and Suites feature a double hot tub on the balcony so you can wind down at the end of the day and pamper yourself using the complimentary pure herb and local bee basics skincare toiletries. Some rooms have uninterrupted views of the rolling hills, where watching the sunset couldn’t get much better. The onsite restaurant is the chosen spot to wine and dine yourself, where à la carte menus made with local produce are served for dinner under a blanket of twinkling stars. There’s plenty to do outside of the property including walks discovering waterfalls and the rainforest, or relishing in the many eateries and wineries the area has to offer. The Hinterlands is an excellent area to visit for a romantic break and hotel options are abundant. My personal choice would be the Spicers Tamarind Retreat because of the absolutely beautiful property, and the facilities are second-to-none too. It gives guests the best of both worlds; you can be left in peace to relax, or if you prefer to be kept busy, there are plenty of activities on-site. However, you won’t go far wrong with any of the above pickings.
