  • New York Marriott Marquis – Its One-Bedroom Suites and Family Rooms are ideal with accommodation for up to 7 guests. You’ll be steps away from Broadway shows and Times Square’s attractions.
  • AKA Times Square – Check out their Two-bedroom Suites and Apartments. With enough space for up to 5 guests, it’s one of the few hotels in Times Square that offers separate rooms. This hotel is also in a great location.

Best Hotels For New Year’s Eve

  • New York Marriott Marquis – If you want to see the New Year’s Eve ball drop, this is the best hotel. Make sure you book the King Rooms or Superior Double Rooms with Times Square views.
  • Tempo By Hilton New York Times Square – A few more rooms and suites here are available with direct sight of the ball drop. Try to book the Corner King Suites early if you’re looking for the best experience.

Most Affordable Time Square Hotels

  • Margaritaville Resort Times SquareMargaritaville Resort is a tropical paradise in the middle of Times Square, but it’s surprisingly affordable. The resort’s King Rooms can sometimes be as low as $200 USD per night.
  • Hotel Shocard Broadway, Times Square – The Standard Double Rooms is a smart choice for travelers who want to soak up Time Square’s excitement at a budget-friendly rate. If you book your stay in either January or February, you’ll pay as low as $150 USD per night.

Other Things To Consider

  • Views & Balcony Rooms – If you’re looking for views and balcony rooms, The Chatwal is your best choice. Both the Producer Penthouse and One-Bedroom Suite with Terrace features stunning views of the city’s skyline.
  • Rooftop BarsThe Knickerbocker is the best hotel to stay at if you’re looking for a rooftop bar. Their St Cloud rooftop bar is well known to get parties going. Serving unique cocktails, craft beers, and small snacks, this is the best spot to enjoy New York views. It’s open from Tuesday to Saturday, 4pm-11pm. Alternatively, check out Bar 54 at Hyatt Centric Times Square – the highest rooftop bar in NYC.
  • Swimming PoolsThe Chatwal and Margaritaville Resort are good options if you’re looking for a swimming pool. Chatwal features a beautifully landscaped indoor pool and hot tub area. While Margaritaville offers a resort-style outdoor pool with plenty of lounges and a pool bar.
  • Parking – Most hotels around Times Square don’t have onsite parking but have arrangements with private garages. However, it can get expensive. We found the Westin at Times Square to have the most affordable and convenient parking. For $ 50 USD per night, parking is available at a garage near the hotel.

1. Merrion Row Hotel and Public House

Experience Irish culture and hospitality in the middle of NYC Times Square. You’ll be impressed with the elegant decor on arrival. The hotel’s Beaux-Arts building, built in 1920, was one of Times Square’s first hotels. Their onsite restaurant Public House is inspired by Irish pubs. It serves food from Celtic tradition with an American touch. Hotel rooms also have Irish-inspired decor. If you want to stay here, check out the King Studios – they’re perfect for couples.

W New York is another iconic part of Times Square. It’s located in the center of it all and close to all the Broadway theatres, restaurants, and bars. But you’ll have everything you need at the hotel. Dining options include a Dos Caminos Mexican restaurant and Blue Fin, a modern seafood restaurant.
