- The Torrance Hotel (photo above) – Even if you’re not planning a romantic getaway, you’ll want to book the Torrance Hotel’s Honeymoon suite. The entire second floor of this duplex suite is a private spa. It has everything you need, including a sunken hot tub, a steam room, and a bar area.
Most Romantic Glasgow Suites For Honeymoons
- Alamo Guest House – This restored Victorian property features 10 unique rooms that are ideal for honeymoons. The Deluxe double room is the most popular with antique furnishings and a roll-top bathtub. Busby Hotel’s Honeymoon suite is also popular with newlyweds, with a large whirlpool bath, stylish décor, and other luxury amenities.
- Malmaison Glasgow – If you’re newlyweds, check out Malmaison Hotel’s Love Suite Love Package. You’ll stay in their Signature suite and receive champagne, chocolates, and breakfast for two in the morning. For something more, Torrance Hotel’s Honeymoon suite features a separate bedroom and a private spa.
Most Affordable Glasgow Suites with Bathtubs
- Malmaison Glasgow – Malmaison is a chic and modern hotel with over 70 luxurious rooms and suites. The Signature suite is one of the best accommodations, and depending on when you visit, it’s also one of the most affordable. Plan your trip early December and you could get this elegant suite for just $190 USD a night.
- Sherbrooke Castle Hotel – This magnificent castle is one of Glasgow’s most popular hotels, offering luxury rooms at affordable prices. The Junior suites are comfortable and spacious, with lots of amenities. Visit in the fall or winter and you can enjoy a Junior suite for as low as $200 USD per night.
1. The Alamo Guest House
This family-run guest house is set in a terrific location. Whilst the area is leafy, it’s also within a five-minute walk of some of the best bars, restaurants, and coffee shops. It’s situated in an elegant 1880-listed Victorian building that has been lovingly restored by the owners. There are ten unique rooms to choose from which are all fitted with antique furnishings. Not all rooms have ensuites, but we recommend choosing the Deluxe Double Room to enjoy a roll-top bath. Guests can wake up and start the day with a hearty breakfast which is included in the room rate. There’s an excellent selection of pastries, yogurts, cereals, fresh fruit, and hot items.

2. Dakota Glasgow
The Dakota has a range of well-appointed rooms and suites filled with everything you need. Inside, you’ll have smart TVs, media hubs, WiFi, and bespoke toiletries in the ensuite bathrooms. But, it’s the finer details that stand out here. Monsoon showers to start the day, unlimited Sky Sports and movies to relax, and luxury linens for better sleep. Check out the Signature suite if you want access to a private bathtub. For dining, eat at The Grill which is famous for its steaks. Prime cuts are sourced from naturally-reared Scotch cattle. And if you fancy a drink, the stylish Jacks Bar is the perfect spot to enjoy artisan gin, cocktails, or coffee.

3. Busby Hotel
Choose The Busby Hotel if you’re looking for a hotel away from the bustling city, but still within easy reach. Positioned on a tree-lined avenue beside the river cart, this is somewhat of a suburban gem. Rooms are finished with stylish décor, luxurious amenities, and mod-cons such as music speakers and smart TVs. Some of the suites have bathtubs. Our choice would be the Honeymoon suite which not only has a slipper bath but an exterior hot tub too. Onsite dining can be found at Carters Restaurant. There’s a range of menus from a la carte, afternoon tea, and brunch.

4. One Devonshire Gardens a Hotel Du Vin
This luxury boutique hotel has just 49 beautifully decorated rooms. It has an enviable reputation for service and style. Individually designed bedrooms are equipped with comfortable beds, dressed with quality linens and flatscreen TVs. While they all have luxurious bathtubs, the Signature suite is the best. You can relax and watch TV while you’re having a bath! For dining, a daily changing menu with a Scottish influence is served in the chic bistro. Guests can also enjoy a cozy bar and whisky snug which boasts a whopping menu of 300 whiskies and 600 wine bins. In terms of location, it’s close to the Botanic gardens and less than a 10-minute drive to the city center.

5. Kimpton – Blythswood Square Hotel
One of Glasgow’s landmark hotels, Kimpton Blythswood Square is celebrated for its Georgian architecture. It’s set just beyond the city center, with spectacular private gardens right outside the doors. Rooms were recently renovated and have original architectural features such as marble fireplaces and lofty ceilings. There are a number of room configurations available but we recommend their One Bedroom Suites. Located in the Georgian wing of the hotel, it’s an open-plan suite with plenty of space. More importantly, you’ll have a free-standing bathtub to enjoy. Make sure you check out the spa, equipped with nine treatment rooms, a thermal suite, and two relaxation pools. There’s also a sauna, steam room, gym, and café area. Onsite dining is available at iasg restaurant which serves seafood straight from the waters of Scotland.

6. Sherbrooke Castle Hotel
This magnificent castle hotel is set in the leafy suburbs of Pollokshields. Guests can choose from a selection of rooms and suites decorated in a mixture of traditional and contemporary designs. As standard, they all come with WiFi, Nespresso machines, and flatscreen TVs. Book one of the Junior suites to get your own claw foot bathtub. Fresh, seasonal food is served at The Restaurant which is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Delicious and varied menus are complemented by a comprehensive wine list. We recommend trying the afternoon tea which is served either in the Lounge, Library, or Morrisons room.

7. The Torrance Hotel
If you’re celebrating a honeymoon, this is the place. But even if you’re not, we recommend opting for the honeymoon suite anyway because it’s so great. It’s a duplex room with a luxurious bedroom downstairs and a private spa upstairs. Guests are treated to a sunken spa tub, steam room, swing chair, and bar area. If you fancy stepping out of your room, the onsite bar has regular DJ nights, a pub-style bar, and a lounge. You’ll find a range of craft cocktails, specialty gins, traditional whiskeys, and delicious wines. For meals, head to the East Kilbride restaurant where menus are crafted from seasonal produce.

8. Fraser Suites Glasgow
If you’re looking for a home-from-home style stay, then look no further. These serviced apartments are set in a beautifully renovated 1850s Victorian building. You can choose a studio, one or two-bedroom apartment – all of which are light, airy, and have modern furnishings. They all have kitchenettes, spacious living areas with work desks, and private bathrooms. With these amenities inside, it’ll feel like home. Also onsite, you’ll find a fully-equipped gym, breakfast room, launderette, and 24-hour reception.

9. Number 10 Hotel
Number 10 Hotel is a boutique 4-star property located in Glasgow’s Southside, just three miles from the center. With the hotel boasting scenic grounds and fabulous views over Queen’s Park, the location is simply stunning. Rooms are individually styled to blend contemporary design with the original Victorian features. They all benefit from ensuite bathrooms, luxury beds, and the finest furnishings. Have a look at the Executive king rooms if you want to relax in a jetted bathtub. Fine dining is available at their onsite restaurant, and there’s afternoon tea too. In the warmer weather, guests can take advantage of The Beer Garden – a spacious spot to relax in the sun with a drink.

10. Malmaison Glasgow
Chic and modern, Malmaison Glasgow is housed in a converted church. Some of the original church features are still present, but it’s mixed with a quirky boutique style. The 72 bedrooms are luxurious, elegant, and filled with comforting amenities. We recommend the Signature Suite for a plush stay where you’ll have the most spacious bathtub. In the vaulted basement, you’ll find Chez Mal restaurant and 24-hour room service is also available. For drinks, there’s the Chez Mal Bar which is one of the best places in the city to grab a cocktail. It’s in a pretty great location too, just a short walk from the shops of Sauchiehall Street and the train station.
