We’ll show you charming boutique hotels, intimate honeymoon suites, and the most affordable options. Whatever you’re looking for, you’ll find it on our list of Edinburgh’s most romantic hotels.

Hotels with Hot Tub Suites

  • JustB Edinburgh Retreat – This hotel is a bit further out from Edinburgh, but the private outdoor hot tub in the Master Suite is worth the trip.
  • Nira Caledonia – This is the only decent hotel that has Jacuzzi Suites. Add a romance package and you’ll have a very memorable stay! While it’s pricey, it’s still cheaper than some 5-star hotels.
  • voco Edinburgh – Haymarket, an IHG Hotel – Firstly, this hotel hasn’t made our list of the most romantic hotels in the city. However, they do have a Queen Room with a jetted tub. Since there are so few hotels with hot tubs, this might be worth considering. It’s still a very classy hotel. Rooms are clean and the dining venue is very elegant.

Hotels with Bathtubs in Rooms

  • The Roseate Edinburgh – In the Roseate Suite, there’s a golden freestanding tub by the window. Just close the blinds if you need privacy, but the natural sunlight adds a nice vibe to the room.
  • House of Gods Royal Mile – Besides the golden bathtub in their Suites, all the decor is practically red! If you’re looking for an intimate stay, this is by far the most romantic room!
  • W Edinburgh – A brand new hotel, make sure you check out the Fantastic King Suite. Only floor-to-ceiling windows separate you from the outdoor terrace so there’s plenty of natural lighting.
  • 24 Royal Terrace – In the Superior Double Rooms, a small artsy divider separates the bathtub from the bed. It’s more highly rated by guests compared to the other hotels with in-room bathtubs.

Best Boutique Hotels

  • The Witchery by the Castle – Nine unique suites with four poster beds, roll tub tubs, and stunning views make The Witchery a luxurious stay. Add its award-winning restaurant and central location, and you’ll understand why guests rate this one of Edinburgh’s best boutique hotels.
  • 24 Royal Terrace – We highly recommend this boutique hotel. Its artsy vibe, comfortable rooms, excellent service, and delicious food, sets it apart from other local hotels.
  • No. 11 Boutique Hotel & Brasserie – No. 11 Boutique Hotel is one of Edinburgh’s best for several reasons.
