  • Hoshinoya Tokyo – This is the only Ryokan close to Tokyo station. It’s very luxurious and the prices are quite reasonable too. Besides the rooms, they also have hot springs, a spa, and authentic Japanese dining. It’s a complete Ryokan experience.
  • Karaksa Hotel TOKYO STATION – While not as luxurious compared to Hoshinoya, they do have Japanese-style rooms. It’s also closer to Tokyo Station.

Best Capsule Hotels

The closest capsule hotels to Tokyo Station are a couple of stops away, near Shimbashi Station. This includes Hotel Owl Tokyo Shinbashi and Anshin Oyado Shimbashi. There’s also Rembrandt Cabin & Spa Shimbashi, but this is for males only. Near Kanda Station, just one stop away, there’s nine hours woman.

  • Hotel Ryumeikan Tokyo – You’ll appreciate this hotel’s clean and comfortable accommodation, offering excellent value for the money. Book one of the Standard rooms from January to April and you’ll enjoy rates as low as $126 USD per night.
  • Super Hotel Premier Tokyo Station Yaesu-Chuoguchi – This is a top choice for an affordable hotel close to Tokyo Station. The Standard rooms are clean, comfortable, and most of all budget-friendly. Visit Tokyo from December to February and you’ll pay as low as $102 USD per night.

  • Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at MarunouchiThe Deluxe One-bedroom Suite makes this one of the best Tokyo Station hotels for couples. This suite has everything couples want including romantic views from every room and a luxurious soaking tub overlooking the city.

Some comments mentioned the room prices were a little high, but the convenient location near Tokyo Station was well worth the expense.

There are two single beds inside and futons can be provided for extra guests. It’s not the most lavish in the area, but for location and comfort, they’re an excellent choice. Guests raved about the breakfast buffet which offered a variety of freshly made Japanese and Western dishes.
