This cement statue of the part-fish, part-lion mythical creature is an iconic Singapore landmark.

Standing proudly at 121 feet tall, it is said to be the country’s guardian of prosperity.

This one in Sentosa Island is the largest of the five officially-designated Merlion statues around Singapore.
