Top Attractions

Dragon Hall, dating from 1430, is a grade 1 listed building, a medieval trading hall. In its Great Hall, there used to be all types of goods ready for trade, such as wool, spices, pottery and even wood. There is a fabulous carved dragon featured in the Hall. Stranger’s Hall is a museum sited in a merchant’s house from the medieval era, and displaying life, clothing and furniture from Tudor times through to the Victorian era. There is also the Norwich Castle, built in 1094, and now housing an Art Gallery and Museum.

Kids & Family

There is a fun adventure park near Norwich called BeWILDerwood, and it includes trees in the park, with treehouses, zip-lines, and rope-bridges. Caters to all ages with a special area for littlies. The seasonal Wizard Maze Play has a maize maze and a play area. Kids will also have a great time and learn lots at the Norwich Puppet Theatre.

Shopping

Next to the Castle is the Castle Mall, an interesting shopping centre with five floors of shops and an eight- screen cinema. Another popular place for retail therapy is the Royal Arcade, and casual shoppers might enjoy the Norwich Market.
