If you are interested in religions and religious art, this Hindu temple's outside architecture is quite fascinating. It is one of the oldest temples in Singapore and it is a good place to observe and learn about the Hindu religion and deities. They expect you to be modestly dressed to enter, so keep it in mind if you are planning a visit.

This is a beautiful colonial-style building and worth a visit to enjoy a cocktail. The hotel invented the famous Singapore Sling cocktail, and they still make the best one in town! It is also a good place to enjoy a lavish breakfast.

I was surprised to find such interesting history in this park. I went for an afternoon of poetry and music in the park and ended up spending some time afterward to look around some more, simply because I was fascinated with the place, the old graves and the fort itself. It is a peaceful walk full of discoveries.

Great place for shopping, photography, and people-watching. There are lots of interesting shops selling everything from jewelry, phone accessories, clothes and trinket gifts to take home. Easy to reach by MRT, and it is also close to other malls, like Bugis Junction.

The place for budget shopping! There are many little shops selling all kinds of gadgets and things you just tend to make a mental note of. Then when you need an item like that, you find yourself back at Lucky Plaza to buy it. The food court in the basement serves great food at good prices. I had a really great dish of chicken rice and fresh, mixed juice.
