Ko Chang is a large island in the Gulf of Thailand, north-west of the Cambodian border. Ko Chang is all about the nature and activities connected with the land and sea. It is a major island in the Mu Ko Chang National Park which covers 250 square miles containing more than 50 islands, and includes most of the Ko Chang Island interior.
Treks to explore the jungle are available, and waterfalls, like Klong Plu Waterfall are prime attractions. The longest beach on the island is Khlong Prao, while Lonely Beach has a reputation of being the spot for backpackers.
