    Need to do

Definitely a must do in Penang. Most hotels will have a map with where all the street art is and it is really fun to grab a map and go on a scavenger hunt around Georgetown to spot the murals and the steel art. Definitely stop by Armenian street and walk around there because that’s where the best ones are.

    Fantastic attraction

The main goal of my Penang family trip was to find all the Street Art in George Town. The street art is spread out across the whole of Georgetown so you might want to plan your route before you head there. You’ll probably take a few days or weeks depending on how you want to immerse yourself in each sites before moving on. It’s a perfect concept to get tourist to explore all parts of Georgetown and see different attraction sites. The street art is the best Georgetown has to offer. I’m looking forward to revisiting these street art sites!

    Fantastic attraction

The highlight of most Penang trips is the exciting (and tiring) search for the different street arts in Georgetown. Some of them are in plain sight, while some are so small and hidden. You can ask the locals where the small and hidden ones are and they will be glad to point you to the right direction. There are quite a number of street arts and usually the big and obvious ones have the longest queue for photo taking.

    Fantastic attraction

Really enjoyed the ride with the cable car. There are two stops, but I prefer the second one. Just make sure it´s not cloudy on the day you are going, as you won´t be able to see anything. Pretty view on the sea and mountains.

    Fantastic attraction

Georgetown is a beautiful UNESCO heritage site, with amazing, old terrace houses and history everywhere you look. Doing a tour of the quirky and beautiful street art is one of the best ways to see the town. You can find free maps online and in many places in town (information centres etc.) and walk the street art tour yourself or even hire a tri-shaw bike. It can be VERY hot some days though, so take plenty of water and stop in at the many awesome cafes in town.
