    Fantastic attraction

I reached the Tian Tan Buddha by taking the Ngong Ping 360 cable car. It’s totally worth the time coming here. This is a tourist friendly attraction that you and your kids will enjoy. Aside from the beautiful view, the environment seems so peaceful! I suggest you come here very early (opening time) to avoid the crowd.

    Fantastic attraction

The journey up the Big Buddha is not an easy one but the view that awaits at the top is beautiful. Visiting this tourist spot will definitely be a great experience. This is different from the usual Hong Kong tourist spots as there are not much people. A must try in Hong Kong!

Peace and enlightenment, if it wasn’t for the crowds.
The ride up by cable car was spectacular and you get a taster view of the Big Buddha as you get to the top. There are plenty of shops to buy cheap and not so cheap gifts, and you can be reasonably priced food and drinks too.

    Fantastic attraction

Tian Tan Buddha or The Big Buddha as it is commonly referred is a must visit site in Hong Kong. There is something magical about the first time you catch a glimpse of the statue of Buddha from the ground and it only gets more special as you get closer.
A few hundred steps lead to the statue and the views from the top are breathtaking!

Tian Tan Buddha is your profile picture!
It is like taking picture near Eiffel Tower or Tower of Pisa.
Go with you friends take pictures together have fun!
It is little bit hard to walk on stairs in summer day but it is worth it!
    Breathtaking views!

Getting to the Tian Tian Buddha requires a bit of stamina so if you can’t handle the hike, you can just stay where you are and still see it because it is THAT big. However, getting there is absolutely worth it because seeing the gigantic Buddha up close, surrounded by an amazing scenery will leave you speechless. Trust me. It does get crowded though, no matter what time of day it is.

From the bottom of the stairs you can tell this Buddha is something to behold, and once you get to the top its awesome to see towering over you. On your way up you can see people praying to the Buddha which is an interesting experience in itself if you don’t follow Buddhism, but regardless of your religion Tian Tan Buddha is a Hong Kong must see!

    Fantastic attraction

The Big Buddha is an amazing attraction in Lantau island. You need to climb up and get to the top to appreciate the beauty of the whole island. It’s worth a visit, been here twice and still awed by it’s beauty.

    Fantastic attraction

Tian Tan or Big Buddha is one of the most memorable places I visited in Hong Kong. Getting there requires a cable car ride. Great view when you get there but there are hundreds of steps to take just to get to the top. It is kinda tiring but it is totally worth it. It is a great feeling to be there. Everyone should try this.

The Big Buddha is more than what you can see in pictures. It is really huge and climbing up is really tiring though but all worth it when you are on top. This is too much touristy though so getting a good photo requires a skill and a selfie stick. You can spend a full afternoon as everything close by is picture perfect.

This Big Buddha is one of the attractions in Ngong Ping. I climbed about 200 steps to get to it. It is striking from the bottom of the steps, but it was much more beautiful up close. The view is also incredible so I took some time to relax before going down.

If you’ve ever visited Asia before, there is nothing special for you. But for people traveling to Buddhist countries first time, this place could be interesting. Except for Buddha statue you can visit a Po Lin Monastery, it’s not so far away.

    Fantastic attraction

Also known as the big buddha, you will be amazed by it’s size. Sitting grandly atop a steep flight of stairs, this is definitely one of my favourite attractions in Hong Kong. Catch the cable car to get here if you can and make sure you check out Ngong Ping village as well while you are here.
