5.) Arc de Triomphe Paris-The arch of Victory stands in the center of the Place of Charles de Gaulle. This monument was erected for soldiers that fought for France during the Napoleonic Wars. On the inside and the top of the arch, the names of the generals were craved with the corresponding wars they fought. Underneath the arch is the tomb of an unknown soldier who fell during the Great War.

6.) Basilique du Sacre-Coeur-Also known as the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus of Paris, this structure is one of the symbolic icons of France’s Catholicism.
