The Philippines is a tropical country with humid and fresh air. Millions of tourists and western travelers come to the country every year to experience one-of-a-kind travel experience. This country has 7,102 islands which mean you will have a lot of places to go to enjoy your vacation or holidays. But to make thing a little bit easier for you, the following are the top six most visited places in the Philippines;

#1. Banaue Rice Terraces – carved into the mountains by Ifugao, the native of Cordillera, it is referred to as the 8th Wonder of the world. It has been built using crude stone-aged tools but the hands of the natives were the ones which molded the almost whole of the regions of Cordillera. Being in the place would be a glorious moment for you. Being in the place means you are 5000 feet above the sea level and you can touch the clouds and get lost in it.

#2. Tubbataha Reefs – one of the best places in the Philippines to experience nature is Palawan; it is full of beautiful beaches and rich in marine and forest resources. The Tubbataha Reef is just one perfect place for you to discover while you are enjoying the rest of your Philippine travel. This reef is divided by an 8-kilometer channel to have north and south atoll. Endangered species of fish can be found here like hammerhead sharks, manta rays, giant jacks, barracudas, etc… It means, it is going to be a lot of fun.

#3. Boracay – do you want to get your share of beach and the sun in the Philippines? Boracay will be the perfect place for you. Voted by BMW Tropical Beach Handbook as one of the best beaches in the world in 1990 and TV Quick (British publication) acclaimed it as the world’s number one tropical beach. But that was long ago and many have changed; first, there are more first class hotels and inns in the vicinity and the beach has been developed more to cater tourists’ needs. Still, it is the best beach to visit in the Philippines.

#4. Chocolate Hills – there are 1,776 hills within the 50 kilometers radius in the province of Bohol. These hills are totally covered with green grass and rise with almost the same height. These hills have become the famous attractions for tourists and travelers in Bohol. The reason why they are called as “Chocolate hills” is because the green grass turns brown during the dry season. Therefore, only during summer that you will be able to call these hills as Chocolate Hills because the rainy season will turn them green.

#5. Paradise Island – a small island in Davao City is blessed with unspoiled waters and pristine beaches open for everyone. Samal Island is a peaceful place and a home to some of Davao’s tourist attractions. People usually speak in Tagalog and can understand English well as there are thousands of tourists visit each month to have a peaceful time along the beautiful beaches.

#6. Apo Reef – it is the country’s largest contiguous coral reef system and happens to be the world’s second largest. It comprises 34 square kilometers series of coral reefs making the best spot for different marine life to live. Divers often find the place a perfect spot for underwater adventure and witness different species of marine mammals, fishes and other sea creatures. It is located in Occidental Mindoro so, it will not too far to reach when you are in Manila or even in the Visayas Region of the country.

The Philippines is a beautiful country with plenty of beautiful sceneries and natural resources. However, most of the tourist attractions are still being developed.
